The icita symbol (registered TM) attempts to represent visually how the artist (A) and the technologist (T) can interact to promote thought processes. The symbol is made up of two squares and represents ‘the squaring of the circle’. The implication is that the hard data of life’s experience interacts with us and becomes the round-data of our own experience. The right side of the symbol has in it the letter A and T and they are in an integrated state associated with the seeding of an idea. The left-hand side is an empty square ready to receive the outcome of the integrated thought process.
