My path through professional life has been one to find an education that I believe respects the integrity of the individual as a functioning as well as caring person. I cannot escape the truism that even if we cannot see human thought it is something we must continue to endeavour to understand. Central to such understanding is the priority that thoughts applied to education must have a generic basis that enables the individual to be involved interactively with what is taught and the right to question it. The whole aspect of our environmental survival today is dependent as much upon the interactivity of the thought process that rejects its violation of ‘splitting it’ as that of fracturing the integrity of the physical environment .
